Roma

When we found out that we were going to be leaving Brussels in July, I immediately planned a trip to Rome.  It's one of those places that was on my "must see" list that I had not yet seen.

We went in March, which was a good idea as it was just before the start of the tourist season.  However, we did not get the typical, warm and sunny Rome weather.  It was cold!

Nevertheless, Rome was one of the most beautiful and enchanting places I had ever been to.  Unfortunately, our camera was set, accidentally, on a very low pixel setting so our pictures don't do the city justice.

This was 5 jam packed days of culture, history and good eating.  We also got to visit our friends Giusy and Alberto as well as little Andrea and Sophia.  They just moved back to Rome from Brussels and invited us to their home for a lovely meal.
