Stephanie's Southeastern U.S. Tour

There was a lot to celebrate this summer so I went home for 3 weeks to visit family, to enjoy the hot, humid summer weather of the southeastern U.S. and , of course, to work on my tan.

Anniversary at Versailles

Rick and I celebrated our 6th anniversary of marriage on May 26th. In honor of this momentous occasion, we decided to spend a day at Versailles. I, honestly, can't think of a more romantic destination! I was completely seduced by the ambiance--of course, I have been accused of being a hopeless romantic. The weather was superb so we spent most of the day in the gardens and even had a pique-nique lunch along the Grand Canal. During spring, summer, and early autumn, music plays continuously and the fountains are turned on 3 times a day.

It's difficult to believe that it's been 6 years already. It's even more difficult to believe how many wonderful experiences we've had together during that time.

Enjoying some Wittamer chocolates--a gift from Rick

Okay, so I already had half of an apple tart and some chocolates, but the ice cream looked too good to pass up!
